Reduced Light Photography
(preview pictures below)
What I learned the most from this project is how to manipulate my camera for different settings/ times. I also learned that reduced light photography isn't just about taking pictures of the stars or even the moon. With this in mind you can make your own artificial light and attempt to light write. The most enjoyable part of the project is when we got together and took pictures outside of the school. I would like to think so, however I'm really not going to use this type of photography in my individual project.
Developing A Basic Composition Project
(preview pictures below)
The first project of the year, in this class was made to show Roxy our basic understanding of the rules of photography. Some of the rules Involved in this project are rule of 3rds, diagonals, rules of balance, and even using phi grids. All of the pictures I show in the preview and the slideshow were all taken with my Iphone 8, and were taken in my 15 acre backyard in Hesperus, Colorado. Enjoy!
I learned from this project that I need to learn A LOT of things to be able to take an eye-catching photo. I also learned the value of bright colors makes a picture more appealing and likable. Another thing I learned is that there is lot of technical aspects with using a camera. This includes the lenses, lighting, angle, shutter speed, and much more. This project gave me a good sense of what this class is about, and I can't wait for more projects so my creativity can thrive!
