Choose Your Own Art Project
Description:
when I first started out, I wanted to do some type of simple pixel art. when I started to look at pixel art then I thought about making a snake game into one photo, when I knew it was a little too easy to make one picture, I decided to make 20 more photos and make a GIF. Now, instead of using windows movie maker,or even I movie, I used adobe flash to put it together. I put it to 8 frames per second and my project was pretty much finished. I choose this certain idea because it was the most relevant when it comes to pixel art. It is important to communicate visually because that is what keeps us sane; constant exposure to other humans.
Logo Design Project.
Reflection:
it is important to have an eye-catching logo is because you need it to look asthetically pleasing. Another reason is because that’s how all logos should be: to catch the eye of others. That’s ultimately how you sell merchandise.
Description:
pretty much, Roxy helped us design our own logos with only our initials and our imagination. she each gave us a pencil and a piece of paper and we began making our logos on the piece of papers, each with a different intention and idea. Until she made us scan and copy the drafts to our server folder, then the day after Roxy made us create our favorite design with Photoshop and illustrator. Then, we put it on some merch and then that was it. that was pretty much our project.
Political cartoon project:
What did I learn? To start off, the first thing I learned is how to make perfectly strait lines on a Photoshop document, And i also learned how to thicken and thin the lines so they look more visually appealing. I also learned how to duplicate different layers by pressing Ctrl J on the selected layer. I also learned that you have to be on the layer to duplicate the selected object. This is the project to where I learned the most, except the tutorial project. that is the most important things that I learned.

Black history Month Visual Aide
Project descriptionSo, For this project, Stephens students had two choices: one, we could go with Roxy's original idea of making a utopia/ Dystopia visual aid. OR, we can use what we learned in Stephens class (Black history month) and use that as a visual aid instead of Roxy's original Idea. For example, I did mine off of the desegregation of the military.
Project reflectionHow does this visual Aid reflect deeper understanding in the humanities projects? I am going to answer this with the purpose of this masterpiece. Back in 1948, The African-american community made up about 10 percent of the manpower in the USA alone. And also since I put the quote "no sacrifice to great," that states that even though the black community is relativity small, that does not mean they can make a difference in A war. That was pretty much the purpose of why this Photoshop document was made that way.

Letter Portrait project:
Description:
From the Ted talk "Ways of seeing."what I took Away from that Video was that design and art are very different From each other, However in art you can Be more creative while in Design you are set to some rules.the very first step I took was going outside, And Just taking pictures. Then I Went inside and took more pictures, Then I edited and cropped through all the pictures I took. Then i uploaded the pictures onto My server folder. The next day I ran all the photos through Photoshop And made them look pretty and nice, Although I did mess up with my saves. I had to do my project and do the process over again. then, What I did next is I put all the photos in one single picture, Saved it as a PNG, then that was really my project.
